• Reading in Comfort

  Thank you for donating to our project to provide a comfortable new seating option for students in the Santa Fe High School Library! Many students have shown a lot of enthusiasm when seeing the new sofa, and it is used frequently throughout the day; it is typically the first choice for students since it is placed so near the entrance, and students have asked us to get even more sofas! We love being able to provide students with a comfortable spot to relax for a moment in the chaos of high school, so your generosity is greatly appreciated.”

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to support the Edmond Santa Fe High School Library's goal of purchasing more manga for students as we finished the 23-24 school year. Our students cannot get enough manga, and these newest additions to the collection flew off the shelves by eager students! It is always so fulfilling to see the excitement on students' faces when they discover the perfect book to read and to hear the enjoyment in their voices when they return it. • Reading in Comfort

  Thank you so much for helping the Santa Fe High School Library get closer to our goal of providing new and more comfortable seating options for our students. Many students were excited when we first put the new couch out, and it gets a lot of use every single day. The couch is a top choice for many and is likely occupied any time there are more than five students in the library. One student likes it so much that he requested the details so that he can buy his own. We are so appreciative of this community and all of the support we have received. Thank you!”

• Learning in VR

  Thank you for your generous support of our project to purchase a VR headset for the Santa Fe High School Library. We love that we can now add an extra dimension to our lessons and give teachers more options when it comes to using new technology in creative ways. Santa Fe students have been very eager to try out our latest piece of technology. We can't wait to have our psychology students use it to look at brain scans and take history students on virtual tours. Thank you again for continuing to support the library!”

• Bring Ideas to Life!

  Thank you for your generous support in our project to purchase a 3D printer and extra filament for the Santa Fe High School Library! Students are so excited to have the opportunity to print their designs in 3D and hammed it up when I asked them to be in a photo with the new tech.

  We have had many students jumping at the chance to use it, and it has been a great addition to our creative space already.

• Fill in the Blanks

  Thank you for helping us "Fill in the Blanks" of our collection by contributing to this project! Thanks to your generous support, we were able to replace lost books and add new releases in several popular series to keep our students reading.

  The Santa Fe High School Library and all of the students we serve are so appreciative of the Edmond and DonorsChoose communities. Our students are always so excited when new books come in, so receiving the materials from this grant was a highlight in the last quarter of the school year.”

• Library Essentials

  Funded Nov 29, 2022

  Thank you so much for your support of the Santa Fe High School Library and our vision of creating a more modern and updated space for our students. We have applied the contact paper to many of our shelves, used the light dimmers to reduce the harshness of some of the fluorescent lights, and frequently use the sign holders to help direct our students to prevent confusion. The bluetooth scanner also allows us to complete tasks more efficiently.

  We cannot wait to continue to update the space. Thank you!”
