Tall Desks Helping Special Education Students Grow!

The desks have arrived. Students were excited to see the packages and we started opening them right away. Putting them together was easy and took little to no time. The students love them and they have created more space in the classroom. These desks will benefit students for many years. I am very grateful for your generosity. It is nice to know that during these times in our country people are thinking and helping others. These students are our future as they will contribute to society and make our world a better place.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Herb Kohl Philanthropies and 2 other donors.

Tall desks with a foot swing are great to keep a student occupied without them moving around the classroom. These desks will be used by students at school. I see my students face to face and the use of a tall desk will help them focus on their school work. A tall desk gives the students the ability to move about at their desk. Some students have a hard time sitting at a normal desk. They tend to fidget with their pencil or anything that is on their desk. Anxiety plays a part for many students. A standing desk will help them stay focused but give them the freedom to move around.
