A million thanks for making this project successful! I can’t wait to show students the new headphones and carry cases! This new technology and storage supplies are going to make it easier and more comfortable for students to work. We couldn’t have this without you the donors so thank you!”

  • You’ve Got Mail!

    Funded Dec 14, 2023

Thank you so much for our new mailbox system! This mailbox has changed the way we pack up! Being able to have student accessible cubbies for homework and flyers has been great for my students to build independent. Having these cubbies helps students to gain more responsibility in the classroom.

Students love the nice new mailboxes and were so excited to use them! The old mailbox system was cardboard and was falling apart. My students couldn't wait to get their homework from the mailboxes just so they can see their spot!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grzegowski

  • Learn in Color!

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

This piece of technology has been life changing for my classroom. Having access to a color printer in my very own classroom has made making copies and recourses so much easier and more accessible for my students. My students have been so excited to see a new bulletin board I made in the classroom using the color printer.

Each month I print a different themed bulletin board with students faces on them! They get so excited to see the theme. I wouldn't be able to do this without having this printer!”

  • Promoting Play in K!

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

My students absolutely LOVE this sensory table! This is a choice that is open for them everyday during choice time. When students first saw this table they were so excited to go to that choice. When I revealed the table showing students the different colored kinetic sand inside they couldn't contain their excitement!

The next steps for our table is to make our sensory table decked out for fall! We are adding rice with tweezers and different pumpkins and leaves! I will continue to change out the sensory bin based on the seasons to keep it fresh and new for my students!”

  • Small Group, Big Impact

    Funded Aug 8, 2022

Our new table is amazing! We use it everyday for small groups! It has been such a game changer for our classroom to have this space to work together!

During reading students are able to come to the table and work collaboratively in a group with their peers. Students were so excited when they say the table! They couldn't wait to come be in a group to use it! I'm so thankful for to be able to have this table to use for my students this year and in years to come! Thank you for contributing to this project!”

  • Kindergarten Supplies

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

This donation has been a game changer for our classroom. The amount of resources I was able to receive from Lakeshore learning has changed the way I provide intervention to my kindergarten students. A few of our favorite things are the shape bingo, alphabet bingo, and alphabet floor puzzle. My students are SO excited to use these amazing resources! They are able to have learning materials in our classroom that get them excited to learn the alphabet & shapes.

Every time I introduce a new material they can't believe it! I still have games I haven't introduced yet and I can't wait to get their reactions after each one! Thank you so much donors, this wouldn't be possible with you!”

  • A Cozy Library

    Funded Aug 17, 2022

My students are LOVING their comfy couch in the library. This is such a special space were students are learning to love reading. During choice time students are so excited to choose library and cuddle up on the couch with one of their favorite books.

When my students first saw the couch they were so surprised! They keep asking me where I got it from. Thanks to your donations my students are able to enjoy this space all year! I'm so thankful that students every year will be able to enjoy this space in our classroom to grow their reading skill.”

  • Paint It!

    Funded Dec 9, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! My students LOVE our new paint supplies. Especially the easel. Once it's time each day for choice everyone wants to go over to use the new paintbrushes, wear the new smocks, and paint on our nice new easel.

I built the easel for the students after school the day that it came. When they came in the next morning they were so surprised and excited for the new, bright-colored easel. They even were excited about the bright-colored smocks and paintbrushes. Our old supplies were old, broken, and were very dull-colored, so they couldn't wait to try out these fresh new supplies.

    Thank you so much!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grzegowski

  • Tools We Need to Succeed!

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Thank you so much for providing our classroom with new read aloud books. In kindergarten we use read aloud's as a fun way for students to understand setting, characters, main idea of the story, and comprehension. In our classroom students read both independently and with a partner. They get to explore books that are on their level as well as other books which we call look books. The bins were also super helpful in organizing the books in our library so they were more easily accessible to students.

My students can't get enough of one of the books we got called Bruce's Big Move. They want me to read it over and over because of how silly and fun it is to read!

Thank you so much for providing my students with these experiences in a difficult year!”

  • Center Time

    Funded Sep 11, 2021

Our new choices are used daily in our classroom! One of my students favorite things is the dollhouse people and the fort builder kit. I have loved being able to watch students work together to build different style forts using the long plastic rods and connectors.

When my students saw me walking in with the huge boxes of items they were SO excited! They couldn't wait to see what was inside. Once I opened it all I showed the students some of the new things we received that they would be able to play with a choice time. They couldn't wait until it was time for choice time to use them!

Thank you so much for donating to this projects and providing my students with fun and exciting new choices!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Grzegowski

Having carpet seating will allow students to be more engaged in classroom learning. Currently due to the pandemic my students are working from all individual desks in our room. When the time comes where we can have students learning in closer proximity I want to making sure students are have a safe space to do this. When having young students having a carpet to teach whole group is essential. In years past I've noticed what an amazing difference it makes when teaching young students on the carpet versus from their seats. I want to be able to provide my students with a warm and welcoming space where they are able to learn and grow when time allows us too.
