Next year I will be looping with my students to 4th grade. I want to completely change my classroom so it is not the same decorations they had. I currently have a rainbow theme and I am going to invest into changing my classroom into a cozy camping theme. I need new lamps because 2 of my 4 were broken this year. I also need new rugs because my classroom does not have any. I will have flexible seating in my classroom next year. I want my students to feel safe and secure when they walk into my classroom. I also want to reassure them that a new year means new beginnings. The items like I selected I have used in the past and have proven effective in helping me build a safe and secure environment. I am also hoping that it continues to help me establish a classroom culture.
