These novels will be used as part of whole-class book readings, assignments, and self-selected reading projects. I will be able to have a few class sets for students to use for analysis together and initiated by me. I will also be able to offer some new choices in our classroom library for students to select to read for projects, after they finish major assessments, or if they complete work early. This library will also encourage students to read authors from different backgrounds and countries. A love of reading is something every English teacher wants to gift to her students. This project is one step to ensure that.

About my class
