Supporting Differentiation
Funded Apr 8, 2022A TeacherPayTeacher gift card is the most valuable gift card I can receive. It helps me plan out my lessons with numerous supplemental additions. These additions bring the curriculum to life and help immensely with student engagement.
I have created a wonderful word wall from your donations that include photos so that my students with special needs are able to develop self determination as they advance their literacy skills.
I have a student who has a hard time completing work that is not considered preferred activities. Since being able to use this gift card I have gotten this students to complete so much more work than ever before. They are really advancing!”

Funded Mar 4, 2022My students were able to eat healthy snacks throughout the day because of this project, which they needed. It was a hard transition back into the routine of daily school for them after the pandemic. This helped ease the transition.
They were so excited! It made a world of a difference. Everyday they would ask for food, and everyday they knew they could take some soup home. They were also able to taste healthy "chips" and they made great comparisons.
My students have learned healthy eating habits from this project. We will continue to practice healthy eating practices throughout this school year as well.”

Funded Jun 25, 2022Wow, what a world of a difference your contributions have made for my classroom! My students have benefited so much from this project.
I am able to give them the chance to create beautiful arts and crafts projects weekly for them as well as differentiated lessons. This means I can create material and make copies in my class room to have on hand in moments if a student is having a hard time with a concept.
My students were so shocked and excited to see the printer in the room! They exclaimed, is that really ours? I have them do research projects and they can submit their work to the printer and print out their research.”

Necessary "Accessories"
Funded Mar 16, 2021My students were enthralled by the boxes of resources that I lugged into our classroom last spring. They were so inquisitive and appreciative of the donations even before we opened them and utilized them. I explained to them the importance of kindness and generosity, and they led a discussion about the ways they have been helpful in their communities too. The importance of receiving and giving was not lost on them.
We would check the root farm every single day, and students would remark with curiosity at how the vegetables grew. They drew their observations and we always had something in our classroom to ground us to nature during a school year when students were not allowed to be out and about. Students also became cognizant of the natural processes that take place when items decompose while examining our class composter! Students became poignant advocates for the right kind of garbage disposal in our classroom. It was a joy to see unfold.
I plan to use these resources again this year with my new first grade class; I know that they will also find joy in these science centered "accessories." This class has never been in school during a "normal" school year, and I hope that these resources will continue to bridge some of the gaps and lack of experiences the pandemic has thrust upon them.”

Liven Up
Funded Apr 28, 2021Thank you so much for your contributions! My students were excited to practice their literacy skills whenever they could. They took ownership over many of the new chapter books your gift afforded us. One student even finished 4 out of the 6 books from the collection. While other students were able to make decision about the kinds of topics that interested them, supporting their own individual reading habits.
In addition to the books that your contribution afforded us, we also received many useful art supplies that allowed us to be creative in the classroom. We celebrated many culturally diverse spring time holidays, and made beautiful projects using new arts and craft materials. My students were excited to learn how people all over the world reflect on and celebrate renewal and light during springtime.
Lastly, my students felt such pride with all of the multi cultural art supplies. They were excited to pick out the pastels, markers, and construction paper that best matched their own skin tones to create relatable masterpieces!”

Funded Jan 29, 2021Thank you again for funding my project "resources galore". I have been able to provide scaffolded lessons to my students quickly through my TPT gift card. The gift card has allowed me to not spend time agonizing over how to make or where to come up with the money to buy scaffolded resources for my ICT class. This has allowed me to be more inventive with my lessons and has caused me to feel much less stressed. Therefore, making me a better teacher.
My students really need to be in smaller groups to get the most out of our lessons because of their varied abilities. The students enjoy partaking in the smaller groups and ask when it is time for that part of the day - so thank you for getting them excited!
I have used the TPT gift card to purchase Black History Month ELA and social studies activities, math mystery pictures for practicing place values, art projects for holidays such as Valentine's Day, and even a science lab unit because we do science experiments every Friday! The students love the activities, and I love the time it gives me to be more creative.”
