  • STEM and Sustainability for Everyone

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation and support. This means a lot to my students as well as to myself. I cannot wait for them to learn about sustainability and STEM and impact so many students. I hope this sparks and interest in STEM fields for minority students that are majority of our schools population. Thank you again for your kindness and financial support”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bondar

This classroom project was brought to life by Carter's | OshKosh B'gosh and 3 other donors.
  • STEM CHALLENGE - Hands-on

    Funded Aug 28, 2024

My students loved participating in hands on learning activities. They enjoyed building STEM cars, fiber optic lamps, carousels among others. First, students built their models and after powered them with rechargeables batteries to see their constructed projects come to live. Some students even colored and decorated their projects. This experienced allowed students to create a project with their hands and take it home afterwards. Students learned about STEM and got to keep their project home for memory. This experience instilled a gift of learning science and engineering. Many students collaborated together and problem solved when they ran into obstacles. Students who finished building early asked for another STEM kit to construct... they loved it that much. Most exciting part was to see their faces when their project came to live - cars raced away, lamp transformed color, Ferris wheel went around, etc.

Thank you again for providing this incredible opportunity for my gifted learners. They enjoyed it very much and are asking to build more.”

  • Motivating Student Success to the Finish Line

    Funded Jul 29, 2021

My students greatly benefited from your donations. I was able to reward students who worked hard and showed academic growth. Some of my students moved from beginning learners to developing and/or proficient. Most of my students were positively surprised to have snacks and treats as rewards in the classroom. My class became one of their favorites as well (this is not typical for math). I am so grateful to be able to help my students succeed more mathematically. This would have not been possible without your support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Calculating and Drawing Success!

    Funded May 4, 2021

Thank you so much for your generosity. The calculators really help my students be more successful in math. My students use them daily to perform math computation. Many of them check out calculators and use them home. The drawing pad helps me teach more effectively because I am able to annotate with ease. My students can see me writing notes from any projection.

The technology in my classroom really helps my students learn. Calculators save a lot of time on basic math computation, so students are able to focus on higher order skills.”

  • Energizing and Motivating My Amazing Students

    Funded Feb 23, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations. I was so surprised to receive funding. My students were super excited to receive healthy rewards every day for doing their work correctly and showing effort. They enjoy being praised for their academic efforts because they often do not hear it from anyone outside school. Their homework completion rate has improved as well.

It is heartwarming to know that there are donors like you who continue to support students across the United States, especially in low-income school zones. My students benefit from knowing that anonymous donors care about their success.”

Many students do not have access to a reliable scientific calculator. Having the necessary supplies to succeed in school should not be a barrier for them. My project is to give the students in my middle school math class TI-30XIIS calculators to use to overcome their daily struggle. They are many different functions on a calculator that my students do not know how to use. I teach them how to enter fractions, logarithms, and quadratics functions in class, but they need to be able to practice with the same calculator outside of class to ensure they are successful.
