  • It's All Fun and Games!

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you for all of your generous donations of fun, teamwork, and happiness to our classroom! We have already jumped into the games before Chrisrmas break and when we returned because of cold weather in the mornings. The children especially love the magnets, Jenga, Guess Who?, card games, and dice games. They look forward to their free time! There are not as many groans of disappointment when they realize they can't go outside for recess in a day! "Can we play games?!?!" Is what they shout when they know their inside fate. So, thank you, again, from the bottom of our hearts for bringing joy and competition to their free time! We love you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mase

  • Clean & Restock!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

We are all set!! Thank you so much for all of the classroom and cleaning supplies! The children are so excited to be able to have these supplies on hand and at their disposal at any given moment. The little spray bottles with cleaner are up in the front of the room along with paper towels where they can grab and clean their desks when needed! They have become more independent and care about keeping the class clean, which makes me happy and makes my days easier! So, thank you, again!

We have enough pencils and markers for everyone and enough Simple Green to keep our classroom clean for the next 3 years!! Woohoooo!!!!”

  • Measure, Weigh, Create!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

We are so grateful for all of the stem and science materials you have given us! We had a cart donated to us and have added all of the supplies to the cart to jeep them handy for pur experiments or for our early finishers to use when they want to get creative! Thank you so much!

My student still cannot believe that people would be so generous to give them these "cool things" when they've never even met! They are pumped to use the balance to weigh anything they see in the classroom and they can't wait to try out the new graduated cylinders when we move into learning about volume in math and science!

Thank you, again, for your support!! We appreciate your kindness!”

  • Love, Sharing, and Caring in the Classroom!

    Funded Nov 12, 2023

Thank you so much for giving my classroom this amazing gift!! We are so organized now and have a lot to offer the students who are hungry and can't afford to bring snacks to school. This has made a huge difference in their behaviors and positive outlook for our classroom. The students love the organization bins and the responsibility that comes with managing where everything goes now. They are becoming more and more independent every day thanks to the tools we have received. So, thank you for remembering the little people!”

  • Back to School!

    Funded Jul 14, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to help me get my new classroom ready for the 2023 school year! The bins will help keep our library tidy and give us a little more room to showcase special books and house other ones that we get throughout the year. We are in constant need of erasers and paper, so we are filled up and ready to write our hearts out or erase and write again! Thank you! In the fall, we will start our science projects, so I am glad.to have a jump on that with the awesome bulletin board set and letters. Overall, your donation had made our classroom more prepared and organizer for success!! Thank you!”

  • Back to the Basics!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

We can't thank you enough foe the supplies!! We are still using the donations that you gave us so long ago in the classroom today! So, thank you for helping us. The children are confident that they have what they need to succeed in all of our lessons. We use the every day supplies and have made many art projects from the other gifts you gave us like ornaments and paintings. We plan to use the rest of the supplies for future lessons. It is nice to open our cabinets and have options to choose from as supplies versus scrambling the night before to run to the store or begging another teacher to borrow or share. Thank you so much for all of these gifts!”

  • Who Was Everyone? We Want to Know!

    Funded Feb 28, 2023

Thank you so much for blessing these 5th graders with these wonderful books! They were extremely excited to see all the options they had to choose from for future book reports and just learning about all the new people the books explain about. I had to actually hold a drawing because they were arguing over who waa going to read which book first. It was great!! There is not one book left on the shelf today that we received. The children are reading the books and exchanging them for a different one right away.

Thank you, again! The kids are so happy and so grateful!!”

We are much more organized with our different colored folders. Our behavior has been really fabulous because we are trying hard to get all the cool treasures you gave us for our treasure box! Your donation truly made a positive impact on our classroom behavior and on our hearts overall. It was so exciting opening all of the boxes full of goodies you helped us get!! Thank you, again! We love you for it!!”

  • The Friendchip Project!

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

I want to thank you again for helping us start the Friendchip project! The students loved learning how to make the bracelets and loved sharing them with a new friend. I saw some of them still wearing their little bracelets for the start of the school year. I have many new students this year and making friends has been hard already, so we are starting this again. Thank you for your help and support!! Many children will be smiling and feeling a sense of relief from this one little kind gesture! I appreciate you!”

Art is most of my students favorite time of the week. With our tight curriculum, we are only allotted 1 hour per week on Fridays for Art. I try to make our time fun, creative and full of different aspects of art every week, but with a limited budget and being a mom of four myself, I feel restricted with the opportunities I can give my students when teaching Art. I know I am capable of teaching them so much more. I would love help to create an actual painting experience for them! We would set up the classroom as a real paint night! The ones that were so popular before Covid hit. The students would have their own paints, brush and canvas and could bring a snack while we listen to music and create our masterpieces! I would lead them through each step, guiding them through the process while also allowing their own creativity to emerge. This would allow me to get the tools our classroom needs to get our monthly Art paintings off the ground. We could reuse the brushes and easels and only need canvases and possible paint refills to keep it going. How awesome would it be to display my student's art masterpieces throughout our classroom? And what an even cooler remembrance they would have of their time learning Art in fifth grade! Thank you for considering helping me achieve this lesson. I appreciate you reading my wishes!!
