When the materials arrived, my students assembled and organized the first-aid kits. They were proud to hand them out at our most recent competition, knowing they were helping keep their peers safe and prepared.
One unforgettable moment was seeing our Safety Captain recognized with a Safety All-Star Award for her outstanding commitment to safety. We are now working on expanding our safety outreach by creating a "Safety Station" at future competitions and encouraging other teams to adopt similar practices. Supporting STEM Girls Period Essentials for Robotics Travel

Your generosity allowed us to provide our female robotics students with period care kits filled with essentials and discreet pouches. These kits were packed and ready to go as our team traveled out of town for a recent robotics competition. Having these products on hand gave our girls peace of mind. It allowed them to focus entirely on competing, problem-solving, and teamwork without worrying about personal care needs during long competition days.
When the girls saw the thoughtfully packed kits, they lit up with relief and appreciation. One student quietly said, "I'm so glad someone thought of this. It means a lot." The excitement on their faces when they received the kits was unforgettable. Many expressed how thoughtful and appreciated it was to have everything they needed to take care of themselves while away from home. For some, it was their first time traveling for a competition, and your support helped ease their nerves and create a sense of comfort and dignity.
During the competition, the students could focus entirely on their teamwork, coding, and problem-solving without the distraction of basic needs. They proudly represented our school, networked with teams nationwide, and even shared their stories and strategies with other teams. Meeting their personal care needs helped them show up as their best selves: confident, professional, and ready to compete.
Now that we're back in the classroom, the momentum from the competition is fueling our next learning phase. When the materials arrived, my students were beyond excited, especially about the art supplies and fidget toys that transformed our classroom into a calming, creative space. The fidget toys have been trendy, helping students manage their energy and focus during lessons. The aromatherapy diffusers have added a sense of calm, creating a relaxing environment that allows students to feel more at ease while they learn. Your support has not only provided resources but has also significantly transformed our learning environment.
The impact of these resources has been immediate. Students who used to feel restless now have sensory tools to help them unwind and regain focus, and they've shared how much they enjoy the calming atmosphere. For instance, one student who struggled with staying focused now uses the fidget toys to manage their energy and concentrate better. Another student, who used to feel anxious during tests, now uses the aromatherapy diffusers to stay calm and focused. These are just a few examples of how your support makes a real difference in our classroom.
