Funded Nov 29, 2023Your contribution to my students' learning is already producing fruits! We've downloaded the Translators to the devices, and our English Language learners are demonstrating independence and efficiency in completing their classwork. My English Language Arts colleagues are impressed with the difference they see in their grade books. We also see that our students are participating with enthusiasm, they are learning new skills and new culture through literature. The assignments are now more meaningful as the students first read an abstract in their native language and then in English before they answer questions or do a follow up activity.
Thank you for making my vision become a reality!”

Funded Apr 7, 2021Thank you for helping my students preserve their home languages. Thanks to your generous donations, my students now have books that they can enjoy with their families. I had parents who called me to thank me for the amazing gift their child brought home. Most of my students could read in two languages. It is my hope that those who couldn't read the native language print would be motivated to learn their native alphabet. Literacy is multilingual!
Thank you again for making a difference in the lives of my students.”

Virtual Learning for Students With Special Needs
Funded Dec 20, 2020Thank you for the I-Pad and the Apple Pen! You've made a difference for me and my students during a challenging time when we, teachers, struggled to deliver quality instruction to our students in the virtual learning environment. I utilized the I-Pad to share the screen and mirror materials that were not available electronically.
With the shortage of school document cameras during virtual teaching and learning, the Screen Mirroring feature of the IPad was very useful. It also provided an additional screen for having my lesson plans open and available during instruction. You've made a difference for me and my students!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Pugh
