  • Meeting Student Needs

    Thank you so much for choosing to donate to out classroom. With the recent donors choose project our class was able to purchase things that would normally come out of a teachers own pocket. This takes a huge burden off of the teacher.

    We were able to get cardstock for art projects. Our current hallway art is "What should my teacher be for Halloween" Students were given a picture of their teacher printed on card stock and the assignment was for them to dress their teacher up. Students and adults all love stopping down our hall to see how creative students are each time we do this project!”

  • Technology and Steam in the Classroom!

    Our new laptop holders are providing a safe space to store and charge our brand new laptops. Our school was able to get new laptops to replace our old and outdated computer lap. This impacts students in so many ways! Not only can we learn but we can learn without the frustrations the old computers gave us. Our lap tops holders were easy to label and are beautifully displayed in our classroom! I know students this year and for years to come will be able to benefit from them. We also received interactive flash cards which are great for all levels of learning!”

  • Supplies for Growing Minds

    Students were so excited to see all the new things that were purchased for the classroom.

    We use our new classroom rug and flexible seating daily. Each morning we meet at the carpet for morning meeting. It has created a nice and welcoming environment for each student that is in our classroom. It has really helped us to become a classroom family.

    We also get a lot of use out of the flexible seating that was purchased. After teaching/learning lessons whole group students live to take turns using the fun seating. It really helps us stay focused.

A carpet will allow us to meet as a group. Every morning, we meet at the carpet area to get our days started. We learn best when moving around. We will be able to take our learning from our seats to the carpet. This will keep us focused and motivated! The wobble stools will help students who need movement to stay focused when they do have to be at their desks. The centers I have requested will give students a chance to work together in small groups. This will allow for student interaction as well as teacher one on one time.
