• Every Student Deserves a Picture Day!

  We are so excited to have a new camera to utilize at our school! It has been a great tool for us in creating memories for all students. We have been able to visually document many special moments this school year. Our school's field day is arguable the most exciting day of the school year and we were able to capture moments of joy and plenty of smiles in action. Additionally, we are able to shoot portraits of our yearbook so that they aren't left out because they weren't able to afford school pictures. We appreciate your generous donation. We'll think of your contributions every time capture a new memory.”

• We Love to Build With LEGO Kits

  I would like to thank you for your generous gift towards my project. My students absolutely love Legos! Thanks to you, students have developed skills to think creatively and improve problem solving skills by the immersive play with Legos that leads to problem solving skills both inside the classroom and outside. Students have also used these Legos in a therapeutic and stress relieving capacity where they're able to calm down and refocus which leads to re-engagement with the classroom. Thank you so much for helping to bring imagination and joy to so many students!”

• We Love LEGO Kits

  The past several months have been a whirlwind. Between welcoming back all of our dedicated teachers and staff, preparing our school, and of course, inviting our Beacon Hill International School students back to our building, each and every student has been working tirelessly as we transition back to the classroom for in-person instruction. For some students, the transition has been difficult. However, with your generous gift, those students that had difficulty at the beginning of the school year are now excelling and having positive experiences. Your donation has truly changed the whole dynamic and culture in our school - especially for several students in particular. PBIS has and continues to have a tremendous positive impact in students. Each day they arrive with a goal in mind and excitement at the prospect of achieving that goal. Thank you for your support which allows students to have great experiences while learning.”

• Mirrorless Camera for Yearbook, Picture Day, and Journalism.

  I would like to thank you for your help in funding this project. Unfortunately, the camera we were looking for wasn't available. However, with the replacement item we were able to select, we've been able to do a lot of the things that we hoped to do, and more! Due to the pandemic, students have been learning online for over 16 months. For the return to in-person instruction, students were able to use the iPad with iMovie and create a welcome video where students and families were able to view safety practices on how to safely transition from outside to inside, how to properly walk down the halls, and how to effectively practice social distancing. The video was amazing. Students also use the iPad to edit recorded PBIS assemblies as well.
