STEM Exploration Creations
Funded Apr 8, 2021We have many little engineers in our classroom who have made great structures from your donations. Even during Covid 19, it has given them a chance to interact and create together.
One particular student was able to construct his own vehicle using the Vehicle Building Center after experimenting with connecting wheels together.
The Building Bridges Center gives the children the opportunity to explore flexible construction pieces to create structures that challenge their STEM inquiry skills. One child pointed to the photo of London Bridge and said "I want to make that."”
With gratitude,

Ready to Read in Pre-K
Funded Apr 8, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation. Literacy is an intergral part of our daily routine, and a time the children look forward to whether choosing to read in our library area or participating in our group Read Aloud.
Through books, our students are developing their vocabulary as we review and discuss new words, and critical thinking skills by answering and asking questions about the texts. They especially love the flip counting book because each page is a chance to discover the numbers and animals hidden on the page!
In these unprecedented times when social distancing makes it difficult for the children to interact, Read Aloud is a perfect opportunity for them to have conversations about books.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Griffin
