I chose to ask for math manipulatives and wobble seats for my students that do or may struggled with ADHD. When math concepts are introduced, it is beneficial for students to associate a new skill with movement or sensory. The items I have chosen will help me explain a new concept more effectively during small group instruction. Also, a handful of my students struggle with sitting in a seat for the amount of time necessary for them to complete a task. Many teachers in my building have purchased wobble seats and found them to be an effective solution.
