We began the school year with about one third of our students online. When they came back into the classroom, they came without school supplies and I have had to spend my own money to buy the supplies they needed. Now, I need a little help to buy some supplies that add up quick for a teacher, like a stapler and staples, the always needed pencils and erasers, and tissue for all the runny noses.
I will use the dry erase markers and personal erasers to challenge the kids to quick math review problems that earn them prizes and a chance to play volleyball against their teachers.
I use the whiteboards to get students involved in the learning instead of just sitting and working on paper.
