I work in a Title 1 school that has a lot of diversity. I am a second year, 6th grade English and work with about 100 students each year. Often times these students come into school with negative outlooks on what it means to be in the classroom. Through my projects, I want to provide lessons and materials to my students to give them a positive outlook on school. The donations that are made, no matter the type of project, are used to help bring a positive change in the lives of all of my 6th grade students. The look on their face when these projects are brought to life are ones that make coming to school every day worth it.
