I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference in the area of writing. This conference will allow me to gain new strategies for teaching writing that I can implement in my classroom, even when I am teaching virtually! I am confident that the knowledge I will gain from this conference will help me to become an even more effective writing teacher. The knowledge I will attain from this experience will benefit my students for years to come. This conference will allow me to add to my toolbox of strategies for helping students boost their writing skills. This conference will also help me become better equipped to prepare my students for written portions of state testing. They need to leave third grade with foundational writing skills to expand on in higher grades. Your generous donation will directly impact my students.
