My students will enjoy reading and bonding over good books with our cosy, comfy seating. Reading is key to the success of my students and I am trying to instill in them a love of reading. • Play Is the Work of the Child!

  I am new to this grade and am beginning to prepare and collect learning resources that are appropriate. Your generosity has made a huge impact in that area.

  For many of my students, this is their first time in a classroom and/or in this country. Our beautiful, colorful learning resources provide a way for them to engage with each other, and to build relationships. As they work and play together, they build language and social skills.

  Currently, we are playing board games to build one to one correspondence with counting, sorting, and matching. The added bonus is the rich conversations that are being had.

  My students and I want to thank you so much for your generosity. I can't begin to tell you what it means to these students to have access to something like BrainPOP Jr., to be able to engage in learning in fun interactive ways even from home. They are sweet, hard-working, enthusiastic learners who sometimes just need a little boost, and you are all part of that for them. Again, thank you, and we will send you pictures to show you what you have helped them to do. Our remote classroom, and learning experience, is better because of your generous, thoughtful contribution.”
