School Materials
Funded Sep 11, 2023Thank you for taking the time to donate resources to my classroom. Your generous contributions will reach the hands of over 120 students. The colored pencils will help the students imagination and creativity when they create projects in class especially for Latino Heritage Month which already started this past Friday. The Crayola Colors of the World Skin Tone Colored Pencils will inspire them to use all shades of color to represent people from all over the world. Moreover, the composition notebooks will help those students that struggle to keep their Spanish classwork organized. The pencil bags will help me organize all the colored pencils so students don't struggle to find each and every color they might need.”

Funded Jun 17, 2023Thank you for your kind donations to my classroom. The posters have provided students with visuals of the location of the different Spanish-Speaking Countries in the world. Additionally, Students learned about facts and other information on each country which has helped them with their research on the country assigned to them which has to be presented to the entire class. The composition books have also been very helpful for those students that lack the means to have them. The grouping sticks have made it easier to group students and have made transitions faster during class time.”

Technology In the Classroom
Funded May 8, 2023I want to start by thanking you for your kind donation to my classroom. The resources you generously help donate have tremendously made a difference in my classroom. The pandemic has reshaped the way we teach and now technology is used more than ever. The mouse will help me work more efficiently and quicker. I will be able to use it for my professional trainings as well to to introduce my students to new technologies. It will also help me familiarize my students with other technologies that otherwise they might not have access to. Once again, thank you so much for helping my classroom.”

Funded Apr 20, 2023Thank you for your kind donation. The students are taking advantage of the resources you provided to them since day one. Today the students were learning about the Dominican Republic and many of them did not know where it is located. They had a lot of fun finding the country in the map and learning more about it through the videos provided. All of them said "this is so cool", some were taking the quiz provided by the globe as well and others wanted to continue exploring the world. Once again, thank you for choosing my classroom and for making my activities more enjoyable to the students.”

A Calm Classroom Environment
Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you for taking your time to donate to my classroom, having a calm classroom environment is very important for me because it helps lower the student's affective filter. Your donations will help me set up and decorate my classroom in a way I could not imagine. With the help of my students we will continue making it everyone's space. Students will enjoy the process very much and they are thankful for your actions. A calm classroom environment will help everyone feel happy and welcomed and it will also bring the classroom to life.”

Funded Apr 6, 2023Thank you for taking the time to donate resources to my classroom. Often times, students walk in to my class and do not have the necessary materials to start working (pencils, paper). The ones that are not shy come straight to my desk to ask for borrowed materials (even though they do not always give them back to me) sometimes I tell them to keep the pencil because they need it for the next class. Those that are more shy tend to wait until I go to them to ask if they need any help. I go through a lot of paper and pencils every semester. Sometimes I realize I have ran out of some stuff and I have to look around to see where I can get what I need.
These resources are very helpful in my classroom because we are always writing and doing projects are require different materials. The resources donated by you are making a difference in my classroom and they will continue to make it. Thank you for taking your time. My students and I appreciate your contributions.”

Funded May 4, 2022I want to start by thanking you for your kind donation to my classroom. The AirPods you generously help donate have tremendously made a difference in my classroom. The pandemic has reshaped the way we teach and technology is used more than ever. With that comes more trainings and professional development. Now, I am able to concentrate more by blocking outside noise with that feature of the AirPods which allows me to come up with lessons and activities that help my students learn foreign language. Once again, thank you so much for helping my classroom.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021I want to start by thanking you for your kind donation to my classroom. The tablet you generously help donate has tremendously made a difference in my classroom. The pandemic has reshaped the way we teach and technology is used more than ever, now any device with internet access has made teaching simpler. The tablet has helped me check for students' understanding, and it has also helped me decrease the time I spend grading assignments and giving more feedback to students. I am able to walk around the classroom to give instant feedback to students while the rest of the class continues working on the assignment; it has also helped me determine what needs to be retaught without days passing by. Once again, thank you so much for helping my classroom.”

Funded Nov 10, 2021I want to start by thanking you for your kind donations. I teach Spanish for non-native speakers at a title 1 high school. In order to keep my students engaged I have to use different materials. Reading books other than the textbook are great resources because students like to read other stories that can still help them improve their vocabulary and their reading stills. My students personally enjoy using other resources for silence and group reading; these books are great. The stories are short, interesting, and simple to read and they also include the audio so this also helps them improve on their listening skills. Once again, thank you for providing additional materials for my students to enhance their learning.”
