Writing Wizards
Funded Dec 23, 2020Thank you for your generous and awesome donation in provided literacy materials to assist my students with their fine motor skills in writing.
Donors like you have help make teaching special needs students with a positive experience in this current virtual learning environment. These wonderful students struggle each day completing their work assignments.
Allow me to tell you what your donation to our Writing Wizards project mean to our students.
One student, who is medical challenged, is learning to hold her writing instruments properly. The student's mother stated, "she seems more alert in her approach to writing on her writing letter pad and writing number pad".
Another student who has trouble sitting still and maintaining focus on his work, has been able to maintain control over sitting and staying focus to complete his writing assignments with the Writing Practice Magic Board. He enjoys watching the letters disappear when he finishes his task.
Watching their faces light up, when they can hold a marker in their hand and place it on writing pads or the magic board to make a mark, is inspiring.
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity toward my students and our virtual classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Redmon

Funded Dec 10, 2020Thank you for your generous and magnificent donation in provided literacy materials to assist my students with their fine motor skills in making patterns and forming words and letter sounds.
Donors like you have help make teaching special needs students with a positive experience in this current virtual learning environment. These wonderful students struggle each day completing their letter-word sounds with puzzles and making patterns using Giant Beads.
Allow me to tell you what your donation to our Bright Minds reading project mean to our students.
One student, who is non-verbal, is learning to assemble puzzle pieces to form words. The student tires to form his mouth to make the beginning sounds of each word by looking at the picture and the word. He enjoys putting the puzzle pieces together.
Another student who has trouble sitting still and maintaining focus on his work, has been able to maintain control over sitting and staying focus to complete his pattern assignment. He utilizes pattern strips, giant beads and a string to match the pattern on the strips. He gets so excited when each task is accomplished.
Watching each student's face light up, when they complete a task is exhilarating. Each triumph is a step toward achieving the student' individualize goals.
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity toward my students and our virtual classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Redmon
