Deaf Communication and a Visual Link for ELD Students

We are so thrilled. The students are jumping up and down in my classroom. Thank you so much for your donation to our project. It is wonderful to know that you share my vision of how sign language can help to bridge communication gaps and make our students smarter!

The tools you have funded will enable our school to set up a sign language library in my classroom. My room is used with over 27 ELD students, over 40 TAG students and over 100 after school children throughout my week. This will touch more than 177 students in our district, who are sharing their knowledge with family and friends.

Teachers and parents have already contacted me to express their love of the language and to tell me how excited their children are to be given this opportunity. Thank you for making it easier to reach each of the different styles of learners that I come in to contact with. We are grateful and awed.”
