Many of my students remain at home for virtual learning as they are special needs and have risk factors so they are not attending school in person. Therefore, they do not have access to items they normally would for learning. Many of these homes do not have basic items to help build the students skills from the bottom up to help with learning as they get older. Ball activities, musical instruments and puzzles all help with strength, coordination and visual perceptual skills that are foundations needed for learning. Foundational skills are what we focus on in our Early Years Program.
