Staying Focused, Having Fun, and Learning Organization Skills.
Funded Oct 1, 2023I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donations. Your contribution has made a huge difference in the lives of my students. They were thrilled to know that they would receive new headphones and chair organizers, and it has made it much easier for them to stay focused and organized while completing their schoolwork.
Not only have these donations provided practical benefits to my students, but they have also instilled in them the importance of gratitude and responsibility. I took the opportunity to explain to them how essential it is to be thankful for the help we receive and how we need to be responsible citizens by taking care of classroom property.
Your support in purchasing these materials has been invaluable, and we know that it would not have been possible without donors like you. The fact that you have chosen to invest in our students' education is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for your thoughtful contribution.
Thank you once again for your generosity and dedication to our school community. We hope to continue working with you in the future to provide our students with the best possible learning experience.
Sincerely,”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Garcia

Funded Oct 31, 2022Your contributions to my class have impacted our student's learning in many ways. For example, coloring books and play-doh are two main activities students look forward to when we have indoor recess. I've learned that keeping our students motivated and making their learning fun will allow them to stay engaged longer.
My students were super excited to receive their headphones, and it seemed to help them stay focused when completing Math and Reading lessons and using their water bottles when learning instead of asking to get up to drink water. Positively, the prizes students receive every Friday motivate them to continue to work hard and persevere in reaching their goals.
Thank you so much for your contributions to making our learning environment a thriving one.”

Flexible Classroom Chairs Can Enhance Student Learning
Funded Aug 24, 2021We have received our flexible classroom chairs, and the students enjoy them. They were super excited to see the colorful, comfy chairs. The chairs are available for students during read-aloud and independent reading. The purpose of these chairs is to motivate them and keep them engaged during reading.
Students come in each day, asking if they can use the chairs during free time and independent reading. I am so grateful for these chairs and how they have impacted my students to inspire their learning.
To keep students motivated while learning, I plan on assigning specific students to use the chairs each week. Students will have to earn a chair by working hard and completing their tasks/assignments.
Thank you so much for your support! My students and I feel blessed to have people like you funding education.”

Funded May 27, 2021My first-grade students were super excited! After sharing some of the donated items with them, the students seemed motivated to complete their tasks while using their supplies. The water bottles and fun packs that I created for them to take home on the last day of school made their day. Each student received a colorful water bottle that they got to use during school.
Thanks to our supporters, my students also received desk organizers to help them better organize their materials. In addition, the chair organizers allowed students to have more working space and focus more on their learning during the last few weeks of school. Despite the pandemic, I wanted my students to have the best memories of first grade. After watching their smiles and excitement, I can say my students will have great memories to cherish during this challenging school year.
We are blessed to have supporters that value our student's learning space. Thank you so much for your donations!”

Funded Apr 29, 2021When my students first saw the art supplies, they could not believe they would own a sketchbook and additional art supplies. However, the students were motivated to complete other classwork and use their colors/markers if they finished early. I noticed my students started seeing Art as another form of expression; they felt very proud of their drawings, which made me happy.
My students were super excited to have received their art materials. They got to use their art supplies every Friday and got to take them home at the end of the school year (June). I could see their excitement every time they asked to use their supplies.
Thank you so much for providing my students with the fantastic opportunity to own their art supplies. We will forever be grateful, and I know my students will never forget the experience of receiving free art supplies.”

Funded Dec 22, 2020The use of whiteboards, Spanish books, and headphones has allowed my first-grade students to reach a higher level of engaged learning. The headphones are being used daily during reading/ Math and help them stay focused. They love the idea of having their own set of headphones on their desks.
I'm so grateful to share Spanish books with my dual students; many of my students are not exposed to Spanish reading at home. Equally important, the use of whiteboards has been beneficial for my students in many ways. They're able to keep their own board in their desks and use it to practice writing words/math problems. Many of my students have also taken their whiteboards to be used at home during their Zoom groups.
Positively, the use of these materials has allowed my students to take ownership and responsibility to care for these items that have been donated to them. Because of COVID and low funding, dual students can benefit from donations. Many students still attend Zoom sessions during small group instruction and can take home whiteboards and headphones to use at home. I can also say that many of my parents are also grateful for the items that have been donated and continue to support their child's learning at home with these items.
Thank you so much for your support during these difficult times of need.”
