To begin, there are several of our scholars with siblings at home, and they are often distracted by each other during teaching and learning because they do not have headphones. Oftentimes, there are volume issues which causes our scholars not to be able to hear due to making it feasible for everyone in the household to be able to work. I believe that these headphones will make a difference in my students' learning because they'll be able to better focus on our class, and it'll block out any outside noise so that they are better capable of hearing questions and hear their name being called which can potentially help with student engagement as well as participation.
