  • Lap Desks for Learning

    Funded Aug 21, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations! My students enjoy using our new lap desks when we are sitting on the carpet and doing work. When students are learning on the carpet, the lap desks are a very helpful tool to place their work and writing tools on. The hard surface that the lap desks provide helps my students be successful in their learning. We use the lap desks daily in our classroom, and they are easily accessible for each child to grab and use. We love learning together on the carpet because of the close proximity we have to each other and to myself.”

    With gratitude,

  • Basic School Supplies

    Funded Apr 16, 2024

Thank you so much for finding this project. My students were so excited to see all of the boxes being delivered to our classroom. The basic school supplies help my students with learning at school. I made individual crayon boxes, with crayons and pencils to help my students be successful with their work at school. My students have a love of learning, and they absolutely enjoy using their new supplies in our classroom. My students truly love their new school supplies! My students and I are forever grateful!”

  • T is for Tables - Part 2

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations! My students were so excited to see and start using our two new circle tables for small groups, math centers, and literacy stations. I am able to work with a small group of four students at a time to increase their letter recognition, number recognition to 20, printing their first name and last name, printing the alphabet, and printing numbers to 20. We are also working on identifying colors and shapes. We will continue to get better because of you! Thanks again to all of you for all you do and for your generosity!”

  • A Comfy Place

    Funded Apr 12, 2021

Thank you so much for funding this project! My students were so excited when they saw the big boxes. They were even more excited when I pulled the couch and chair out of the boxes. They all wanted to sit on them. My students will love sitting on them to look at books. I will have children choose to sit on them during free choice time to look at books. My students love to "read" since they have such a comfy place to sit and read their books. I have always wanted a kid couch and chair and now I have both for my children to use. Thanks again!”

  • Easy Readers for Early Readers

    Funded Apr 12, 2021

Thank you so much for funding this project! My students were so excited to see the box being delivered to our classroom. We have just transitioned back to in-person learning so I am excited to allow the students to look at these books. I will be making up individual bags of books for the students to look at when they complete work or when it is book time (a chance to just look at books). Since I received multiple copies of the books, more students will be able to look at the same book at the same time. Some of my students have begun to read the words, but all are able to tell stories from the pictures.”

  • Printing at Home

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

I am very humbled by the kindness of strangers. My students and I are so very happy to be chosen to have people who want to help us get supplies for home during virtual learning.

My students will be thrilled to get these new dry erase boards to use at home. They will use the boards, markers, and erasers in many ways. We will be able to practice printing letters, numbers, and our names. We will be able to draw pictures as well as practice making tally marks. The possibilities are endless. I cannot wait until I am able to give them to my students.”

I am asking for your help to provide my students with whiteboards and dry erase markers to help support virtual learning at home. Many of my students do not have whiteboards or dry erase markers at home and are searching for paper around their homes, so that they can participate in virtual learning experiences. My students will use the whiteboards and dry erase markers to print their names, print letters and numbers, print words that start with the letter of the week, and do simple math problems. By donating to my project, you will provide my students with hands-on materials to help support and engage them in literacy and math activities.
