• Molding and Squishing

  Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. The Play-Doh and Play foam are helping my students develop better eye-hand coordination. Letter formation practice is now fun time with the Shape and Learn Alphabet Set. Kinestatic Sand is so much fun to use with the Messy Trays.

  My students enjoy using all these tools during Language Arts time and independence time in small groups. They love the colorful Sensory Play Sand to build settings of stories read to them.

  As the packages arrived to our classroom, it was like a party my students were so amazed of everything and were ready to use them.

• Let's Celebrate Us!

  When the new materials arrived, we were learning remotely. I open the packages during our zoom class. Everyone was cheering and happy to see their materials. There were a lot of smiles and words of appreciation. They couldn't wait to start using them.

  My students look forward to any assignment we have in class. They see it as an opportunity to give life to their characters using real skin tone colors. They have start to see and notice our similarities in our cultures and even within their own extended families.

  As I began to read, The Color of Us, students saw themselves in this story. Their eyes opened big when they heard the different color description of all characters. After

  the story was read, some of them felt comfortable sharing who they see in our neighborhood, and compare themselves to the characters of our new book. My goal is to continue talking about our differences and similarities in our neighborhood, our world to help them develop respect for each other.”

• Let's Be Safe on Our First Day Back!

  All of you are amazing! Thank you for the 15 Qt Latching box each of my students received. When they first saw the latching box they were very surprised.

  They have a latching box to keep their materials and school supplies safe of contamination. They are learning to be organize and independent. With these transparent bins, it is easier for them to find the supplies needed for their

  lessons.
