  • Flexibility around the Room!

    The kiddos are loving their flexible seating! They especially love the wobble stool chairs. I love them too because it gives every student in my class, even those with more physical needs a chance to try new seating options that work better for them.

    When I told the students that our project for flexible seating was complete and on its way they were so excited! To all of our surprise it showed up way before the expected delivery date! When it got there I immediately put it together and they were in awe. To this day they still race to see who gets what on flexible seating choice days!

    During our two week testing period these flexible seating options were life savers for some of the more active students. They most definitely were able to focus for much longer periods of time than without it. Thank you for giving them that opportunity!!”

  • Flexibility, a Tool for Everyone!

    The school year has winded down, however, my students excitement for their flexible seating was continuously growing. As soon as I introduced the items you helped us receive their faces lit up.

    Students were allowed to use the flexible seating every other day and you can bet that they almost never let me forget to call out those 5 names. They especially loved the wobble seats. As it not only have them an extra cushion either to sit on or to lean against, but also had sensory choices (one side had tiny bumps the other had thick rubber bristles).

    These items really helped my students be able to focus better on their work, while letting their bodies be busy. Next year school year I hope to bring in another set of flexible seating to continue this opportunity for more of the class. We are so incredibly grateful that you all could help us get these items. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Whether it is materials students are lacking due to family hardships or tools for flexible seating to help students become more motivated and more focused. Each student has a different need and with the uncertainty of things in this day and age I'd like to make my classroom a more welcoming small group oriented environment where all my students can learn equitably. My students are curious and energetic beings who thrive on social interactions the flexible seating will help small groups be able to work together, even from a distance.

About my class
