My students have had it rough, most of their lives; this Covid 19 pandemic is not helping matters. Owning a library of wonderful books is not as important as having food or clothing. Books are not a priority, therefore, reading becomes more difficult and ultimately falls by the way side. Well, I believe books are amazing and help us to escape and feel and think, etc. Studies show that the more a child/teenager/adult is exposed to good, positive, exciting and interesting written work, the better they will speak, read, write and present themselves. The books I have asked for are superbly written, wonderfully mysterious (the lesson) and I hope will ignite a like or possibly a love for reading a good book!!!
