We are currently in distance learning and most of my students do not have adequate exercise equipment. Distance learning has limited what we can teach in physical education and lack of equipment limits it further. The students very much need variety I plan on using these resistance tubes to allow the student to experience and understand the concepts of strength training and go beyond the limitations of body weight alone. The bands will allow the students to exercise with a level of resistance that is appropriate for their current fitness level. This means that they will be able to focus on developing good form without the risk of injury and still be able to experience what proper resistance training feels like. With these bands, students will be able to work out in zoom sessions and on their own outside of class. The students will learn different strength training exercises for the entire body using the resistance tubes. Eventually the students will create a fitness workout plan using a variety of exercises, both with resistance tubes and body weight that will be geared towards improving muscular fitness.
