Document cameras are incredibly helpful to teaching. (Back in my day, we used projectors. This is just like that, but you don't have to make plastic copies to put on the bulky projector.) With a document camera (also called a hover cam), I can put any book or paper or really anything at all under the camera and it is projected clearly on the screen. The one I have chosen is compact, so I can bring it back and forth between home and school as much as I need to during the wild ride.
