During this pandemic, CUSD schools all lent out laptops to students in our district in order for them to do distance learning. This insured that all our students would have the same opportunity. Unfortunately, we lost some to salvage for a variety of reasons. Our campus is now very short-handed on devices for the quarterly, yearly and even formative testing we do here. We have managed the funds to replace some devices, but when I saw this grant, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to get at least 14 more Chromebooks for our student population. These laptops would be housed in a cart and would be used by whatever grade level needed them for testing. Having new equipment would also help in the event we ever have to return to distance learning again. I would love to surprise my school by being able to do this for our kids.
