  • Nonfiction Needs!

    Funded Feb 23, 2022

Thanks to your amazing generosity, my nonfiction project is fully funded! My students will now have up-to-date, engaging nonfiction books to explore in the library. I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces when these new books arrive and I can show them off. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sells

  • McHarg Media Center Materials

    Funded Nov 20, 2020

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me provide creative materials for my students to use in the library. With your help, we've been able to create SO many crafts that tie in with our stories and discussions.

When I put the new coloring supplies, pencils, and scissors into the caddies on the library tables, my students' faces absolutely lit up! They were so excited to have brand new materials to use to do step-by-step drawings of characters from stories, to color some favorite coloring pages, cut out sequencing cards for activities, and more!

I couldn't have achieved this without your help, so thank you very much! My students thank you as well!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sells

Our students are making lots of crafts and coloring in the library during the pandemic since we cannot use centers or share materials. My students’ learning would be enriched if I had more materials to keep in the library for those who do not have their own supplies. The young students I teach are having trouble making it to the library and back to their classrooms while carrying all of their supplies. Our youngest students are having to climb stairs, and their little hands can only carry so much! Having enough supplies in the library for each student to have their own pack of crayons, markers, etc. would make things much easier for the students and teachers during this pandemic!
