Digitally Distanced or Virtual Viewing This being my fifty-fifth year as a kindergarten teacher the challenge of becoming “technology literate” has been grueling! Perseverance and help from several colleagues have empowered my “techie” abilities and digital deliveries. But, to what avail if a third of my students are unable to fully interact due to limited screen vision. Digitally Distanced creates a disadvantage for some. Viable Virtual Viewing is a must for all! I have consulted the district’s head of technology who has assured me that if I were able to acquire the necessary funds to purchase the 65” ViewSonic it would be installed in the appropriate area. This, in conjunction with the existing ViewSonic, would afford all students, regardless of their social distance seating, the ability to participate in all screen activities. Present and future collaborative capabilities available with the ViewSonic Viewboard are incredible. Multiple versatile connectivity options are available. The multi-touch interactive flat panel allows multiple users to write or draw on the screen. These many and varied options present endless (and to some extent timeless) opportunities.
