Snack Please!
Funded Nov 28, 2023Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project, Snack Please! Snack projects are one of the most needed in my classroom. Each day, my students love to find out "what's for snack?" Since I have 23 students, the snacks last about 3 days. They really loved the Pop Tarts! All the flavors in the boxes were a hit! I like to also offer snacks that have nutritional value and the Dole Fruit Cups were also gobbled up. Who doesn't love Pringles! The students (and myself) devoured those cans the first day. Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Sep 2, 2023I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to my project, The Write Stuff! My classroom uses headphones and it's so hard to keep them organized, especially for first graders! Your donation allowed my classroom to utilize the file organizer in the most perfect way! Before, the headphones were put on my utility cart, but was such a hassle with the cords laying down everywhere and was a potential tripping hazard. Now, each student has a slot to store the headphones in, and the cords stay in much better.
Thank you again for your support!”

Is It Snack Time Yet?
Funded Oct 23, 2023Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project Is it Snack Time Yet? The funding for this project is extremely appreciated, because my students are so hungry by the afternoon, that that's all they can focus on. With your help, my students had Cheez-Its, Rold Gold Pretzels, and Pirates Booty. Having 23 students mean the snacks are used within a few days. My students have the ability to grab and go, so they can choose their own snack. I also use the bag of lollipops as incentives and rewards or a special treat. Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Oct 21, 2023Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project Gobble, Gobble! Each year I like my students to understand the meaning of giving, while having fun. This year, my students completed a Thankful Wheel where they drew a picture of six different things they were thankful for. We brainstormed ideas and then they went back to their seats to complete the wheel. Then, students each chose a sun catcher leaf and used a brush and acrylic paint to paint the sun catcher. They will get to hang them once dry. I also, put their picture in the fall picture frames that the students decorated with stickers. Thank you again for all your support!”

Funded Sep 16, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project, Ready, Set, Sit! This project was something I really wanted for my students and classroom. My previous stools were a bit higher than I had liked and students knocked them down at times. I was ready for a much needed change. Thanks to you, my students can now sit comfortably and not worry about scuffing the floor or knocking them over. I have to now, however, drag the students out of the chairs, because they want to roll all over the floor with them, lol! Thank you so much for your wonderful heart and support!”

Classroom Basics
Funded Aug 18, 2023Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project Classroom Basics. This project had so many things that our classroom needed and with your support, we were able to use these items on a daily basis. Of course all classrooms need Kleenex tissues and we go through them so much, not only for our noses, but also for snacks. My students can get a quick drink of water using our Dixie Cups. This allows them just the right amount of water. My students do have accidents, and I am so grateful to have spare change of underwear for both boys and girls.
Thank you so much for your continued support!”

Snack Time
Funded Sep 2, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project Snack Time! First graders need to fuel their bodies and minds throughout the day. They absolutely love Oatmeal Pies. I put them in our snack tub and they are able to grab one during snack time. When I told them we were having cookies, they were so excited! The cookies are a very nice size and fills them up. Students also love to grab a bag of Cheez-It Crackers, which are easy and something they can eat and work at the same time.
I appreciate all your support!”

Early Finishers
Funded Aug 18, 2023I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to my project Early Finishers! This project was so important to our classroom. My students love being able to grab and go, to use the supplies. They love the Word Pop CVC word game and use the pipe cleaners to make letters, numbers, and CVC words. When students have indoor recess, they also love using these supplies during that time. The wooden jigsaw puzzles are a big hit with many students and of course, the playdough and the wooden pattern blocks.
I appreciate all your support!”

Food for Thought
Funded Mar 28, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project Food for Thought! First graders are always hungry, especially after working so hard all day long. I try to provide a variety of snacks for them, which is why this project was very important. Thanks to you, my students were able to enjoy the Grandma's cookies, which is definitely a top favorite! They were also able to choose between Cheeze-Its and Frito-lay bags of chips. Whenever we need something quick and easy to eat, the Chocolate Dipped Granola bars are always our go-to snack. Thank you again for supporting my classroom!”

I'm 100 Days Smarter
Funded Jan 11, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project, I'm a 100 Days Smarter. This particular day of the year is so important and I try to make it fun for my students. They really enjoyed coloring their 100 days crowns and glasses. They also enjoyed wearing their 100 days bracelets and stickers. For one of the activities, students had to lick their Jolly Rancher lollipop 100 times and see how small it got. They loved it! They also used the printout - 100 Gumball Machines to color in the 100 gumballs. Thanks to you, my students had a fabulous day!”
