  • Music To My Ears!

    Funded Jan 28, 2025

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project, Music to My Ears! This project allowed my students to receive a pair of headphones that they use for Chromebook activities during math and language arts. Students do not have to be interrupted by another person's loud computer, which is so wonderful! My students were also so excited to decorate their Valentines Day bag for our exchange. My teacher Valentine card was a retractable pen, which they used to make notes to friends. Of course, we also use dry erase markers most every day and we are so thankful to have new markers, which saves time knowing they actually work! Thank you again for supporting our classroom!”

  • Winter Creative Bliss

    Funded Nov 30, 2024

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project, Winter Creative Bliss! Each holiday season, I like to give my students the opportunity to decorate ornaments. With your help, my students were able to paint and decorate the snowflake wooden ornaments with different colored gems, glitter, and paint. The students had a wonderful time creating their snowflake ornament. I also enjoy providing a few gifts for my students. This year, each student received the LCD writing tablet and a pair of fuzzy socks to keep their feet warm. My students just loved everything and I can't thank you enough for your support!”

  • Back to School We Go!

    Funded Jul 24, 2024

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project Back to School We Go! Thanks to donors like you, my students were happy to come to my classroom to see the supplies that we were given. We go through the Kleenex Tissues like crazy, and I couldn't imagine not having Kleenex in our room. The students enjoyed having their back to school pencils, along with their Glow in the Dark Bracelets. All the extra supplies we need are a staple in most classrooms, including dry erase markers. We use them everyday for practice doing math, spelling, and writing sentences. I just love the Colorful Woven Baskets as well. They are used to store books in our classroom library. Thank you again for your support!”

  • Rainy Day Recess Fun

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my project Rainy Day Recess Fun! My students are obsessed with the paint by sticker books. Many of them take this time to relax and enjoy doing something fun. They also ask to do them when they are all done with their work. During indoor recess, the students also love the water toys. They will spend many minutes trying to get the balls into the baskets. Of course, they also enjoy the Skittle treats. These are used as incentives for good behavior or for doing math.

I am so thankful for your support!”

  • Keep It Clean

    Funded Aug 31, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project, Keep It Clean! Having so many students makes it hard to stay organized and clean. With your help, my students have a new trash and bags that help them throw their breakfast away and any other type of trash throughout the day. We use the garbage bags each day and I am thankful for your help! The students are held accountable for keeping our room tidy throughout the day. The broom and dustpan combo is so easy for them to use, and they truly enjoy helping to keep our room clean.

Thank you so much for your support! I am truly blessed to have supporters like you!”

  • A "Natural" & "Sound" Experience

    Funded Feb 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project A Natural & Sound Experience. This project was created to make hands on learning fun for my students during our Sound & Motion Unit, along with extra items for our end of year activities. The items provided helped them understand that vibration must occur when we hear sound. Students played with the wooden maracas and the variety of musical instruments, including the tambourines, finger cymbals, triangles, and egg shakers. Other items in this project allowed students to decorate the planters during our "P" day, and paint rocks for "R" day. Thank you so much for your support!! I truly appreciate it.”

    Funded Dec 11, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project Needs and Wants Part 2. This project was created to make hands on learning fun for my students during our Economics Unit. The items provided helped them understand that we must make decisions when buying things that we need and want. The items students had to purchase included the colorful foam visors, rainbow fuzzy pens, and colorful mini notebooks. Students bought one thing they needed and one thing they wanted by counting out the play coins for each item. They loved this so much thanks to you!!”

First grade in a VIRTUAL WORLD is tough, to say the least, but my students are putting forth 100% effort and working hard each day! In our classroom, my students make home-made stockings for the holidays and then in a normal environment, donations from families would fill those stockings. However, this year due to COVID, donations cannot be accepted. We do not get to experience decorating cookies, making home-made cards and ornaments, participating in fun math and literacy stations, or just good ole emotional community building. The stocking stuffers in this project will be used to fill those stockings and to let my students know just how much their hard work is appreciated! Help me celebrate my fabulous FIRSTIES!
