This new Promethean board will make a TREMENDOUS impact in all 20 kindergarten students' learning. We will use it to practice our phonics skills, which will also develop our reading and writing. Additionally, the interactive board will become a mathematics learning resources as we will use it daily to learn our numbers along with decomposing, adding, and subtracting! Students can be also engage with the touch screen and writing features of this board. This year is hard for my Kindergarten students! Due to Covid we are restricted in what we can do as a class. Kindergarten has always been a very hands-on, small group, partners, centers-skilled learning environment. However, my students are having to sit at their tables with social distancing and not sharing a lot of resources. We are using a lot of Power points to teach our lessons. A Promethean board will help keep my students engaged in more guided practice and make them part of the lessons again.
