These hygiene projects will help my students feel confident about coming to school. Many of them lack basic supplies at home, which can hinder their self-confidence and sometimes result in students not attending school regularly. Deodorants, toothbrushes, and lotion help make them smell and feel good, allowing students to focus on schoolwork rather than feel embarrassed. My students will be provided with these products so they can keep them in their locker or backpack and can be used discreetly at school on days when they rush out the door in the morning, run out of supplies, or for my students who live in shelters with no basic hygiene supplies.
