  • Setting Our Students Up for Success

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donation! We are so excited to have materials to begin using with our students! With these materials we can start making items that will last for years to come and individualize activities for the classrooms we serve. You have made our lives so much easier with these materials. Again, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Annie

  • Setting Up For Success In Speech

    Funded Dec 19, 2020

Your gifts have been absolutely amazing to implement this school year. In the middle of March, our students had the option to come back to campus and it was so fun to offer them exciting new games and toys to use during our sessions.

My older kiddos (grades 3-5) love using pop up pirate, candy land, and chutes and ladders. These toys are easy to disinfect per our COVID protocol and help keep them engaged during our sessions!

My younger kids and kiddos with Autism Spectrum Disorder have truly benefitted from the ice cream machine, barn, and play house as it has helped with their imaginative play. The teachers pay teachers gift card was used towards some social skills activities as well as phonological processing disorder cards for some of my more severe kids. Without your gifts, my sessions would not be as fun or engaging so for that I truly thank you! You have provided fantastic materials for these kids that can be used for years to come!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Annie

Children use play to learn about their world around them. Play allows children to connect to our world and others around them as they build language skills, articulation, and social skills. My hope is that these games and toys will aid in providing a rich experience for children in speech therapy which they can bring back into their world outside of my classroom. Games allow children to learn new vocabulary, experience turn-taking, practice team building, and learn to deal with losing. Toys make expressive and receptive vocabulary real and provide real opportunities for children to share what they know. All of these items help build onto my students' goals.
