My 5th students are all currently learning from home and will be for the foreseeable future. We are currently reading a historical fiction novel, Thunder Rolling In The Mountains, which they LOVE! I am frequently greeted with, "Are we getting to the next chapter today?" This project will easily get some more reading materials into my students' hands, which is so very important while they are at home learning. If in school, they could regularly visit the school library or would have access to my personal classroom library, but without independent access to a library, many of my students are left with only our classroom novel as new, engaging, and appropriate reading material.
