I teach at a Title I school where we’re not blessed to have all the resources needed. Reading is a fundamental part of literacy and majority of my students lack that foundation. My students are below their reading level. With our current new learning style everyday my students are falling further behind. I want to provide them with books that will ignite a passion for reading with the hopes of raising their reading levels. I want to provide them with multicultural books that each student can relate to and keep them wanting to read.
