Thank you for your generous donations! My students will be thrilled to hear the good news! This will be a wonderful class bonding project and a way to remember our time together. Thank you again for donating to my project. I hope you each have a blessed day! Thank you”
Thank you so much for your generous donations! My kids will be amped when I share the good news! It is such a fun bonding project for all involved! This will be a great way to send them off to second grade! Many many thanks! Have a wonderful day today!”
Thank you so much for supporting my students. During the last week of school we made tie dye shirts to remember our time together in first grade! They LOVED it and it was a good way to practice step by step directions. It is so fun to see my now second graders still wear their shirts we made. They will stop by and show me each time they wear it! They are so proud of their work and love to tell everyone they made it in first grade. Thank you for giving my students something to be proud of and are able to show off their creative side.”
Thank you for supporting our classroom! I am blown away by this community of people helping our youth. We have been able to do more hands on learning with math and reading with our new tools! My students are always more engaged when they get to have their own tools. These tools are great to use in whole group and in small group instruction. I have even had students choose to use them when they are done and waiting for other students to finish! I love seeing them excited about learning. Thank you again for supporting our classroom. It takes a village!”
My first grade students love reading! They love listening to books being read to them AND they love being able to read books to themselves as they learn to read! What they love EVEN more is seeing themselves represented in books. My student who wears a hijab was ecstatic when she read the book, "My Proudest Blue." I have a wide range of students from all different backgrounds. These books have made a great impact on them. Thank you for supporting our classroom and making my students feel important!”
Thank you so much for your generosity! It takes a village to teach elementary students and you have rallied around us! The students will be so excited with their new tools. I will be sure to share pictures of our learning experience! Thank you so very much for supporting our little classroom.”
These books will help me build a diverse library! In first grade, students learn so so much through read-aloud books. I would love to be able to teach about kindness, empathy, strong women, persistence, scientist, and diversity through these books.
We use read-alouds for reader's response as well as great classroom conversation starters. Read-aloud books are fantastic for diverse learning. Students love to see characters that look like them and that they can relate to in real life. I want to give my students those types of books.
