Technology in our classroom allows access to all of our materials. To ensure saftey during our COVID instructional days, we have changed our whole instructional approach in our classroom. We do not use physical books to practice reading and we try to limit the use of paper. We use technology daily for every subject. We zoom our friends in for instruction, read on our tablets, submit our math on the tablet, and complete most of our work on our tablets. Our technology is our classroom access to curriculum.
By having a class set of tablets we can ensure that each student has access to the materials each day. We are able to practice with the students how to independently access their course work when they are home during their remote weeks. We have also requested two classroom laptops as we use our personal laptops to deliver instruction.
