  • Headsets in the Classroom: We Can Connect to Technology

    Funded Oct 1, 2023

Thank you for your support and generosity. Our classroom was so excited to receive our new headphones and use them daily during reading and math.

These headphones have made a great impact to student learning. Students are able to concentrate on their i-Ready reading and math lessons daily without be distracted by others or what is happening around them. Students have mentioned that the headphones are comfortable and easy to use.

We have used them for math and reading diagnostic testing. The headphones will come in handy when testing throughout the year.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Garanzuay

  • Chair Organizers and Summer Reading

    Funded May 27, 2021

This past year has been a difficult one for all students and staff. The chair organizers were exactly what students needed during in-person learning. Having to keep students at their desk during COVID-19, they struggled to keep their little desk organized.

When the chair organizers arrived, students were so excited that they finally had a place to store their materials and supplies.

The books were a big success! Students were so excited to be able to take home three books in their Summer Fun Pack. If only you could have seen the smiles on these little faces, it was like Christmas in June!

Students stayed organized for the remainder of the school and had books to read over the summer. Because of your generosity they were able to have successful in-person experience and a great summer.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Garanzuay

  • Hear It! Say It!

    Funded Mar 23, 2021

Last year was a difficult time for all students due to the impact COVID-19 had on us all. We struggled to teach via Zoom, Hybrid Model, and In-Person. Students used their headphones to work at their seats on reading and math without any interuptions or distractions. They were very grateful and excited to have their own set of headphones to use for the remaining of the school year. Your generostiy enabled my students to work independently or in small groups at a distance while still engaged in learning.”

My students need school supplies especially now that they are learning from home, but also when we return to school in person. There has been many times that we are going to do a project and my students don't have what they need to do their project or assignment. By having pencils and erasers, resources and other supplies they will be able to do assigned classwork and homework. Imagine being excited as a 1st grader and your teacher ask you to get glue, pencil and crayons, and you don't have one the following. How would you feel if this was you or your child? You would want your child or student to have the same opportunity as the other students. So I ask please support my students by donating what you can. I can only pay so much out of pocket, and this year I have spent more that what I have budgeted for each school year.
