  • Transformation From Math to 3D Printing

    Funded Nov 20, 2024

Thank you so much for this amazing donation. My students are so excited to learn the process of 3D printing. Our city is having our very first building designed with a 3D printer. Therefore, this has our community full of questions along with excitement. Students want to know how this is even possible. I will now be able to answer and show this amazing process.

We are so grateful and my students are ready to explore this world. Students will be able to design, problem solve and foster their creativity.”

  • Border by the Sea, and Beyond

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Thank you all so much for this wonderful donation. All the STEM items have been used in my classroom on a weekly basis. My students love their Makerspace time and look forward to their activities. I can see how students show their maker creativity that I would have never seen without this space. One of my student was the Grand Champion in our district Science Fair. She decided to explore the different structures of spacecrafts launch and record distance. This started with our Makerspace time where students created structures of different rockets. This was so exciting for our entire class. It was awesome”

My 5th grade students always learn best by hands on approach. Science is a big subject that my students enjoy. This flexible seating will give students that comfort and fun feeling to work in their new maker space area. The STEM kits will be something new for my students and to my entire school. They will learn about science and engineering at an elementary level. Our students will see how we all can be makers in a fun way!! Teamwork and problem solving are skills that I know my students will take with them.
