  • Reading Books for Growing Minds

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

    Thank you so much for you generous donation of books for my classroom. We are so excited and thankful to have gotten new books in our class. These books have big a huge HIT! My class is currently enjoying a whole group reading of Esperanza Rising and is learning of the different cultures in our community. The students are also enjoying reading and getting on our "classroom waitlist" as they eagerly wait to read one of the books once someone else has finished it. These books are keeping my students eager and excited about reading. It is truly a pleasure to be able to foster a love for reading. So, I thank you! These books will serve us for many years to come!”

  • Kidney Table for Small Groups

    I sincerely want to thank you for your generous contributions that allowed my class to receive a kidney table. Since receiving the table, I have been able to run small group instruction that allowed differentiated and focused lessons for all learners. Additionally, the student love to use it as a place to work when they need a moment away from their desk and need a new, open, working environment. It has been an extremely useful addition to my classroom and am so thankful for your donation! I know this table will serve me and many other students for years to come!”

The donations to this project will help get my student a place in which we can work in small groups. working in small groups will help my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful instruction. Coming back from a pandemic, we are in need of small centered instruction that can focus on the individual needs of each student. This kidney table will allow me to pull math and writing small groups and give students the opportunity to learn in a way that will stick with them over a long period of time.

About my class
