  • Scholastic Magazines

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your generosity! During this time of remote learning, this opportunity to use Scholastic News electronically provides students with the ability to have non-fiction texts to not only read but also have thought provoking discourse about. In addition, this also allows our students to be well versed with current events. This is crucial as they are future leaders of our society.

Thank you again for investing in our children's education. We are forever grateful! You brought many smiles on my students' faces.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ling

  • Equity and Social Emotional Book of the Month

    Funded Jul 4, 2021

Thank you for your generosity. A new school year brings with it the gift of a fresh start- bouquets of sharpened pencils, the crispness of autumn in the air, the butterflies of making new friends, the anticipation of a new teacher, and the renewed commitment to educate our scholars around the topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Thank you for partnering with us to commit to prioritizing social and emotional learning for our students' growth and well-being.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ling

Scholastic Magazines will help students continue reading at home during their remote learning time! During these unprecedented times, it has been hard to find online age appropriate materials for my students to read and continue practicing their literacy skills. In addition, my students shared that reading Scholastic News makes reading more exciting because they are able to connect the reading to real life situations. The passages have always been through provoking and cultivated a plethora of in depth discussions in my classroom. I will also use the science magazines as a supplementary tool.
