For the first time in 32 years of teaching, I don't have enough lower level books to use with my students. Although I am a 2nd grade teacher, I've had students coming in reading at a kindergarten level. I am in need of good quality books that my students can read so they can feel successful as readers. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of literature that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. Having multiple copies of each book will allow me to read with small groups of students. The more my students can practice reading, the better readers they will become!
