I work with 300 kindergarten to fifth grade students in a small school located in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. The students I serve predominantly live at poverty level. That does not stop them from showing up ready to learn everyday!
We are a diverse community of learners and we are lucky to have a supportive close knit community. My students are eager to learn and simply need opportunities.
The school community is always looking for new ways to reach our students. We have developed many partnerships and relationships that make us a school that parents and guardians seek out to place their children in. We rely on outside funding opportunities to provide our students with the best possible learning experience we are able to give them. Students at our school are learning to be life long learners, good citizens, and kind people.
