  • Fostering a Love of Reading for All Learners

    Funded Apr 10, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation to help provide books for my students. Your support goes far beyond the pages of a book—it opens doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity.

For many of my students, having access to their own books is a rare and powerful gift. Because of you, they’ll get the chance to explore new ideas, discover the joy of reading, and build skills that will last a lifetime.

Your kindness is planting seeds that will grow in ways we can't yet imagine. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of all my students, thank you.

    With sincere gratitude,

    Dinorah de la Cerda”

  • Help Our Kindergarten Class Thrive With a Laminator!

    Funded Dec 28, 2024

I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf my students and myself, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for your generous donation that allowed us to get a hot laminator for our classroom.

With the laminator , we've been able to create durable materials that keep students engaged and excited about learning. From hands-on flashcards and interactive games, visual aids, this tool has brought so much creativity and organization into our classroom.

It has helped us preserve important resources by making them last longer.

Kaleb is one of my students that loved to write and wipe off giving him plenty of opportunities to practice wiring his name, words, sentences, etc.

Your kindness has truly made a difference in our classroom, thank you.”

    With gratitude,

  • Make Our Classroom a Place to Learn!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

It is with great gratitude that I thank you for your generosity. These hard times have created so much stress, barriers in teaching but your kindness and great love toward my students changed everything. With your donations, we were able to receive materials, which have helped decorate, label, and prepare our classroom for our students returning for face-to-face instruction. When we received the materials, two of my students were here, and they were so excited and curious, they helped me open the boxes, and we took pictures of the materials. Today I can say that my students will now be able to walk into their classroom, which it will be full of labels that will help them build vocabulary; where they will feel motivated to read. The opportunities with our cricut are limitless and we are just getting started. I am also planning to create personalized labels for my student's centers, and areas once they arrive; besides, it is very important to label their personal belongings and materials, since they are not allow to share due to the pandemic. Although is a difficult time, my hope is to help create the best environment possible for my students, consequently they can have a wonderful experience. You are part of this story; you made it possible! We thank you sincerely.”

Research shows that a print-rich classroom not only supports development of literacy skills, it also inspires a lifelong love of reading (even if kids aren’t reading yet). That's what I am planning to do. My students will have the opportunity to benefit with this amazing machine, and all the materials, when I start to label their desks, school supplies, their reading bags, their learning centers, tubs, (when we label their personal space gives them a sense of belonging and makes them feel safe ) etc. I strongly believe that a print rich environment will have a great impact in my students reading skills.
