• Supplies, Supplies!

  Thank you for helping this proposal get funded!! My students are very happy to be able to see the new supplies they received.

  Having the labeling supplies will help them keep everything in order. They are totally happy with having new notebooks and colored pencils to help foster their learning.

  My class is so happy to share their wonderful supplies to help with reading, writing, social studies, and science projects which they can do both independently and their reading and writing groups.

• Clip and Sharpen It!

  I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding this project. My students and I are so appreciative that we have new supplies that we need to help with our learning.

  When my students saw the pencil sharpener, they were so excited since the one that we have now no longer works. They were happy when I was able to put it out so that they can use it whenever needed.

  My students were motivated by being able to display their writing speeches while they are talking on different topics in Social Studies and Science.

• Let Us Put Up Our Work With Pride!

  My students and I were so excited to see these boxes arrive yesterday. My students were super excited to be able to display their work with the variety of colored pencils, pens, and loved the magnetic tape.

  It was really nice to be able to start using these materials right away. The pictures will show all of their appreciation for your generosity. Being able to give students the supplies they need to be interested and motivated to display their work is so important to me.

  My students need to have pride in their work so that they can grow to become life long learners in all academic areas.

• Read, Read, Read!

  Thank you do much for helping this reading project get funded. I love having my students sit with a book in hand and identify all the proper story elements. Reading inside my classroom is a great way to for my students to visualize and understand all there is inside a hand-held book.

  I cannot wait until I can see the smiles and laughter of my class while they enjoy such great books which are both fiction and nonfiction.

  Our units of study will be filled with book clubs and also time where groups can take home the books to read them further.

• We Need to See it! Let's Read It!

  Thank you so much for helping this project get funded. My students love having resources they need to complete "Think- pair- share" activities.

  They become so excited to make different graphic organizers on the chart paper using the Mr. Sketch markers and being able to display their material to their peers.

  My students also love having the flair pens to help them with checking their/ each other's work, depending on the activity we are doing in class that day.

• Multiplication/ Division Learn All About It!

  Thank you so much for funding this project! My students and I are super excited to be able to use resources like this that help us build up our multiplication and division fluency.

  During my students WIN period they are given time to focus on different math and reading skills for the upcoming topic. My students love having these practice boards and projects so that they can interact with each other and solve problems but also talk about how they were able to figure out the different problems.

• We Love Learning About Fun Topics in Science!

  Thank you so much for helping to fund this proposal. My students love being able to use the different science tools and are learning so much about 3rd grade curriculum.

  I have allotted twice a week to help them learn more about science and the wheels, axels, and ramps has helped make their learning more hands on and fun for them to work on. My students are also able to create videos are the different science experiments that they are doing. This really helps to keep families informed about the different topics we are learning about.

  It has been hard with the different health times so parents aren't able to come around to classrooms. Having these resources has allowed me to share what my class is working on and keep parents understanding different topics instead of just sending home the textbook and having parents read the information on their own.”

• Table Top Plastic Folders, Pencils, Magnets Oh My!

  Wow! Thank you so much! Having these tabletop folders have helped my students in their discussion and questioning techniques during large and small group activities. They love having this resource on their desk and always refer back to it when group discussions are going on.

  I took pictures of these resources and sent them home in both English and Spanish to help parents reinforce the reading/ writing strategies that we are learning each week. It is so important to do this since we are having difficulty with meeting with parents during this pandemic that is being changed.

• Read It!

  Your kindness and warmth have really made our classroom a place that is growing in loving to read. My students are so excited to be seeing new reading material inside their classroom library. They love the books and magazines that have been added and ask each and every day if they can change books for new ones.

  The excitement and love in their eyes remind me of being a child inside a classroom and the passion that I have always had for reading.

  We are working hard in both reading fiction and nonfiction and I want my students to always have a book in hand and thanks to you this has happened for this year and many years to come.”

• Key Organization!

  Thank you so much for funding this proposal. I have to say everything arrived so quickly and my students were so excited when I gave them the chance to set everything up. They were excited to make our classroom a "work office" and home as some students said.

  They loved the opportunities of using magnets and markers to set up their stations. They were extremely excited to be given opportunities to move around the room with the draw set and made folders for themselves so that they can put all the work that they need to inside and easily accessible.

  Having a brand-new pencil sharpener was one of their favorites supplies and I created a new job for students to be the monitor each morning and help their classmates get ready for the day.
